Frequently Asked Questions About Coaching, Speaking and Leadership Development

What services does Kim Meninger offer?

I offer leadership coaching, keynote speaking, workshop facilitation and leadership development programming. Individuals work with me to strengthen their confidence, navigate workplace challenges and become more intentional leaders. Organizations bring me in to support their leaders and teams through speaking engagements, workshops, group coaching and ongoing development programs.

Who do you work with?

I work with professionals, people managers and senior leaders, as well as the organizations investing in their development. My clients include individuals, HR and learning and development teams, professional associations and organizations planning conferences, leadership programs or team off-sites. We begin by identifying your priorities and determining which services best support your goals.

What topics do you speak and facilitate workshops on?

My topics include leading under pressure, managing impostor syndrome, fostering psychological safety, maximizing workplace communication and influencing without authority. I also address difficult conversations, managing up, delegation and leading through change, including the human side of AI adoption. Each engagement connects the topic to the challenges your audience faces and immediate actions they can take.

What is Master the Moment?

Master the Moment is my signature keynote and workshop on intentional leadership under pressure. It addresses the gap between the leader we aspire to be and the version of ourselves that shows up when we feel threatened, overwhelmed or uncertain. Participants learn to recognize their behavior patterns and use my LEADS framework to respond more confidently, steadily and effectively in the moments that matter most.

What is the LEADS framework?

LEADS is my five-step framework for strengthening self-awareness and leading with greater intentionality under pressure: •Listen to Your Body: Recognize the physical signals of stress. •Examine Your Triggers: Explore the feelings, stories and assumptions driving your reaction. •Align with Your Values: Identify how you want to show up in the moment. •Develop an Actionable Plan: Choose practical strategies that support your response. •Support Others: Help others recognize and manage their own reactions. The framework gives leaders a practical way to connect what they know about leadership with how they act in challenging moments. They can apply it to difficult conversations, complex challenges and everyday interactions with their teams. It also creates a shared language for discussing pressure and supporting one another.

Do you offer impostor syndrome keynotes and workshops for organizations?

Yes. My impostor syndrome keynotes and workshops examine how impostor syndrome undermines individual performance, leadership behavior and team dynamics. Participants learn to recognize patterns such as perfectionism, overworking and reluctance to speak up, then explore strategies to manage these patterns in themselves and support others.

Why should leaders understand impostor syndrome if they don’t experience it themselves?

Leaders influence whether people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and taking on new responsibilities. An employee who hesitates to take risks may be worried about exposing a gap in their knowledge, even when they have the skills to contribute. Understanding impostor syndrome helps leaders look beyond the behavior, ask better questions and support employees in turning their potential into high performance.

Can you help leaders who struggle with delegation, micromanagement or overworking?

Yes. These challenges often involve more than knowing how to delegate or manage time. Through coaching and leadership development, I help leaders examine the expectations, fears and habits driving their behavior and develop practical ways to share ownership, set boundaries and lead more effectively.

Do you offer leadership development programs for organizations?

Yes. I partner with organizations to design leadership development programming around their priorities and the needs of their leaders. Programs can combine workshops, peer learning, group coaching and individual coaching to help participants apply what they learn to real workplace challenges.

Can your programs support an existing leadership development program?

Yes. Organizations can incorporate my programming into their own leadership development initiatives. We identify where my expertise can strengthen your existing curriculum and connect the session to the leadership behaviors you’re working to develop.

Do you offer psychological safety workshops?

Yes. My psychological safety workshops help leaders understand how their behavior affects people’s willingness to speak up, ask questions, admit mistakes and challenge assumptions. We explore practical ways to recognize threats, respond more intentionally and create conditions that support engagement, learning and collaboration.

Do you offer workshops on leading in the age of AI?

Yes. My sessions address the human side of AI adoption, including how leaders manage uncertainty, strengthen their confidence and support their teams through change. The focus is on helping leaders make intentional decisions, communicate expectations and create space for questions and experimentation as AI changes how people work.

Do you work exclusively with women?

I work with leaders of all genders. Women’s leadership remains an important part of my work, and I also partner with organizations on leadership development for broader audiences. We tailor the engagement to the participants, their experiences and your goals.

Can I arrange leadership coaching for an employee or members of my team?

Yes. Organizations can sponsor coaching for employees who are preparing for greater responsibility, navigating a transition or working through specific leadership challenges. We discuss the development goals and establish expectations for the engagement, including confidentiality and communication with the sponsoring organization.

What experience and qualifications do you bring to your work?

I’m an ICF Professional Certified Coach, TEDx speaker and host of the Impostor Syndrome Files podcast. My background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology, an MBA in organizational leadership and more than a decade in the high-tech industry. I bring approximately 15 years of experience coaching leaders and developing and facilitating leadership development programs.

Where are you based, and do you offer virtual engagements?
